Precision and advanced non-surgical removal of Moles & Skin Lumps without compromising your appearance.
The specialists at Cosmedix Clinic have developed a unique two-step technique to precisely flatten and de-pigment raised or flat benign moles and permanently damage the root of moles so skin is returned to normal colour and texture for good. The procedure is quick and after some minor initial healing the skin will once again be part of the even complexion of surrounding skin.
If you wish to achieve a clear, blemish-free complexion on your face or body free of unsightly moles* then you are an ideal candidate for laser mole removal at Cosmedix Clinics.
*you will need to be cleared of potential pre-cancerous lesions by your GP or specialist to proceed, no referral needed.
Treatment is performed on:
Common raised or flat skin moles; these moles are typically brown, round and even
Dermal melanocytic nevi mole; raised, pale and sometimes hairy moles
Clark nevi moles also known as dysplastic or atypical nevi; larger moles usually hereditary and flat that may cover large areas of the upper body
Blue nevi mole; dark blue mole that appears anywhere on the body including the head.
We also treat common skin lesions mistaken for moles, with similar procedure techniques:
Dermatosis papulosa nigricans (DPNs)
Cherry angiomas/ Campbell de Morgan spots (ruby spots)
Dark solar lentigo
Solar keratosis
Skin tags
Common warts and verrucas (plantar warts on feet)
Non-pigmented, benign skin lumps
Standard Treatment Requirements:
We do not make any diagnosis whether a mole is potentially cancerous. For your safety and peace of mind we recommend to have a full analysis of your mole(s). Simply attend a skin check with your GP or skin cancer doctor and bring your appointment details (doctor name, practice name and date of visit) with you to your consultation with us, no referral needed.
A specialist referral or letter is advised but not required. Evidence of a skin check-up with your GP or skin cancer specialist is required.
We perform advanced cosmetic removal of benign moles and skin lesions, beware of other methods that are likely to cause scarring or that may require multiple sessions with high risk of skin damage. Leave the removal process to us for permanent scar free results.

We apply a clinical based topical numbing cream prior to the procedure. The skin will be completely numb, so no pain.
-
We highly advise a visual skin cancer check up by a certified general practitioner, skin cancer doctor or dermatologist. No referral needed.
However, if you had a previous check-up within the last 12 months of visiting us and they are benign with no changes to any of the moles requiring removal, laser removal is a great option for scar free outcomes.
We only offer cosmetic removal of moles and unwanted skin lesions and do not provide skin cancer checks or offer any diagnosis.

No. Not all non-surgical methods are the same and there is no regulation on what is offered in the community. We highly advice doing your research before attempting to have an invasive treatment performed. Consider the experience of the practitioner, evidence of results and the technique offered.
We provide a fully ablative laser procedure with minimal thermal injury to surrounding skin. The laser produces fine beam with a short heat profile to significantly reduce the risk of scarring and a high success rate of full removal in less treatments. Usually only one procedure.
There are many clinics offering inappropriate methods of skin lesion removal, causing unnecessary damage to the skin and/or ineffective removal of the lesion especially moles. Treatments such as RF cauterisation producing a lot of heat and caused significant thermal trauma to the skin, while other laser methods may cause the skin to bleed and this can significantly increase the skin to scar or lead to infection.
Our technique neither causes the skin to bleed and ensures the root structure is targeted with the least thermal trauma to skin.

The procedure itself is quick and painless.
After some time of pre-numbing application usually taking 30 minutes, the procedure may take only a few minutes.
-
Under parent supervision, children can opt to have their skin lesions removed.
As long as they are old enough to be aware of what is happening and they can be complaint in both the procedure room to stay still and adhere to strict aftercare for proper healing.

While the skin lesions will be instantly removed, the skin will not have an open wound or bleed. There is no need for stitches or bandage cover.
The skin will appear to have a surface wound, like the skin was scratched. A dry scab is formed instantly.
All aftercare instruction will be provided in details after your procedure but we ask you are fully aware that it will require at least 1-2 weeks of initial healing and that you avoid wetting the skin or covering with makeup. “Robert removed 8 moles from my face with the co2 laser, using his 2-step technique. Zero scaring and minimal downtime! I did a lot of research on the best practitioner, as it’s a sensitive area to treat. Robert’s technique and prior work was significantly better than that of other practitioners, and I wasn’t disappointed. I’d strongly recommend Cosmedix Clinics for professionalism and results.”
